25-04 Dressing up your puppet

These past weeks Second Graders have been learning all there is to know about clothes: from vocabulary to different textures. We have had some fun asking our classmates what their favourite outfits are and finding out which clothes are best suited for each of the four seasons. 

One of our most engaging activities was dressing up a puppet in groups and presenting it orally to the class. Students had to choose whether their drawing was that of a girl or a boy, and then they had to agree on which season to represent. When all of the above had been decided, they shared their ideas and finally drew the most appropriate clothes for their puppet.
