08-03 A giant chess set for the little children

Our little siblings asked for help, and in 2nd ESO we are always ready to be helpful! They needed a chess set for the board on the playground and we decided to spend our Technology lessons in building giant pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, queens and kings. We designed the pieces with recycled bottles and cardboard and we got to work. It took several weeks and it was hard, but creativity and cooperation eventually overcame any difficulties!
