23-02 Phrasal verbs- 2º ESO

On several occasions we have realized that students often struggle with the study of phrasal verbs since they find it hard to understand their origin or formation. With the purpose of making it easier for them, we decided to play a game in which students had to create their own phrasal verbs using everyday life situations or their personal experience, invented or real. After that, they were asked to present them to the rest of the students.

Finally, all of them had to decide, within the cooperative groups, which were the three or four best ones taking into account originality as well as oral presentation. It resulted in an activity in which they had a lot of fun and could develop their imagination, which, by the way, is GREAT!
