03-12 What does the monster’s body look like?

What does the monster’s body look like? During the stretch of the first term, we have been working with first graders on how to describe bodies and faces in an interdisciplinary way. Students have learned a wide range of body parts, emotions, and adjectives that have helped them acquire the ability to describe different bodies. And monsters have helped us a lot! We have used monsters to make this topic more engaging and attractive: students have carried out a wide variety of activities related to monsters from interactive digital games to creating a monster in groups.
